Description Morten Christensen 2004-10-19 22:40:56 UTC
I have trouble updating from glibc-2.3.2-r9 to a higher version (this means that i cannot merge any new updates :/ )
I have hade trouble with updating to 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 ...

Every time it breaks because of "src_compile" exitcode 2

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -u glibc (or just emerge -u world)
Actual Results:
!!! ERROR: sys-libs/glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 587, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)

Are you still having this problem? Can you try glibc-2.3.2-r10 and glibc-2.3.4.20050125-r1?
Comment 4 Morten Christensen 2005-03-10 10:19:08 UTC
One I compiled a new version of gcc (gcc-3.3.5-r1 has been released in the intervening period) I successfully compiled glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1.

glibc-2.3.4.20050125-r1 does not exist!!!??? (or am I wrong?)
