Unfortunately tracker-2.1.8 fails tests if it's a fresh install of tracker (or tracker-2 maybe). Please install tracker-2.1.8 without tests first, and then proceed with testing it.
Upstream tracker-2.2 has it fixed up, but backporting isn't easy (moves around lots of files, etc), and we aren't ready for tracker-2.2 yet (not even bumped in ~arch yet).
As tracker-2.1 is a huge improvement over very ancient tracker-1.12.4, lets proceed that way please.
