This is an EXCELLENT rrd management tool. Simple to use. It makes it so mostly anyone can use RRD reporting without being a genius!

This comes from the upstream author, to fix compilation of src/genius.c. I
would expect that this will be fixed in the next version.

Whoops! Wrong bug. Sorry!
Comment 4 Jonathan Smith (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-01 00:32:52 UTC
upstream looks dead. the last release was a year and a half ago...

resolve: won't fix?
Comment 5 Chuck 2005-04-01 04:27:12 UTC
I've just been waiting hopefully for an ebuild for percival to show up. :)
I still think it is worth the effort.
Comment 6 Chuck 2005-04-01 04:29:37 UTC
Agreed that they have not done any additions, but it is a complete system as it sits so I think that since no bugs were reported for it, they have done nothing else. The company I work for uses it constantly and we have never encountered anything wrong, so maybe it is elevated to the 'perfect' status? :)
Comment 7 Markus Ullmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-17 08:40:27 UTC
Just kept an eye on this one. It seems to work without problems, so Comment #6 is right, seems to have reached a "stable" status
Comment 8 Markus Ullmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-08 09:42:50 UTC
Provide an ebuild and we get that into the tree, marking LATER for now
