Description Diederik van der Boor 2004-10-19 01:02:24 UTC
I got a disk full error while removing ut2004.

<<< obj /opt/ut2004-demo/Sounds/GeneralImpacts.uax
<<< obj /opt/ut2004-demo/Sounds/GeneralAmbience.uax
<<< obj /opt/ut2004-demo/Sounds/GameSounds.uax
<<< obj /opt/ut2004-demo/Sounds/AssaultSounds.uax
!!! Unable to copy file '/opt/ut2004-demo/Sounds/AnnouncerAssault.uax'.
!!! [Errno 28] No space left on device

This is just a cosmetic problem, the error is quite confusing, but is is happens when /tmp is full. I changed it to a 32MB ramdisk yesterday, and portage creates a /tmp/portage-prelink.tmp file there.

Reproducible: Always

It's created in /var/lib/portage in 2.0.51 due shortly.

Bug has been fixed and released in stable portages on or before 2.0.51-r2
