I am having trouble with the "doc" use flag - running lualatex on a clean Gentoo install results in texmf libraries being generated, which results in an access violation:

ACCESS DENIED: fopen_wr: /var/lib/texmf/m_t_x_t_e_s_t.tmp

Is it possible to build LaTeX documentation from an ebuild, or should it be distributed as already built?
