Description David Raison 2004-10-18 13:39:15 UTC
By drag-and-dropping a contact from my contact list into an open dialog window, gaim crashes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start dialog with somebody
2.drag and drop contact into this windows
3.crash!

Actual Results:
gaim crashes

Expected Results:
send the dragged contact's information (UIN) to the contact I'm having a dialog
with.

Uhh the expected behavior for dragging a buddy onto the conversation window is to start a new conversation with that buddy. Not to send that buddy's information to another buddy. This works perfectly well for me.

Either way I'll need a backtrace and debug log.
Comment 2 David Raison 2004-10-19 06:49:05 UTC
Seems to work sometimes for me. I was convinced it would happen all the time, because yesterday I told a friend to do exactly the same, and his client crashed.
Anyway, I'll attach a debug log and backtrace in a few minutes.

Yes I can duplicate now. Looks like it's upstream.
