Not the case with 4.0.8. I then re-emerged 4.1.5, and now everything seems to work, and it doesn't die and take up resources.
I told Liam to report this bug because it had some java stuff in it I was hoping one of the java gurus could look into. Anyone seen this stuff before on the java front?
A followup: I discovered that the re-emerging didn't really fix my problem. I also see what's causing the issue now. Sometimes when I'm downloading a lot of files concurrently, some of them will hang at the "Saving File..." stage indefinitely. If I close limewire while it's doing this, it sits in my mem and needs to be killed. After I start it up again after doing this, it redownloads the files from 0% and saves fine. Then when I close it, it clears itself just fine.
does this happen with limewire-4.2.3?
Sorry for the lapse, the problem resolved itself, but I have no idea what caused it, or what fixed it. Resolved is resolved I guess though.
