With this patch pppd does not exit with code 14 on callback request,
but it waits for an incoming call ...

The new pppd-xxx.ebuild is included. It must be emerged with USE="cbcp" flag.

patched successfuly after all pppd patches included in ppp-2.4.2-r5.ebuild are
done.

Also with this patch man pages related to 'pppd' package are moved from /usr/man to /usr/share/man

sorry, but I will have to say no.
please test the 2.4.3 version and see if it has the wanted functionality. if not, you should send this kind of patches to the upstream.
