Oregano in its current form has been unmaintained for a while, but a fork recently got permission to become the main project (http://arrakis.gforge.lug.fi.uba.ar/index.php) (formerly known as arrakis), and is now maintained and updated to be more usable (gtk2, better interface, etc). This is a request for a new ebuild for arrakis/oregano so it can be integrated into portage. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Hello! Attached: oregano-0.3.2.ebuild and ChangeLog The old ebuilds have a *higher* number in portage. This package is under a new maintainer and he has chosen a different numbering system. Also, the current ebuilds are ~2 years old I believe, and this one is new! ( so either this package numbering has to change, or the ebuilds in portage have to go, or something else )

Ok, oregano-0.3.2 is in portage. I'm in contact with upstream, and they'll change the versioning for the next release in a couple of weeks. You'll need to ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge =app-sci/oregano-0.3.2 in order to upgrade until then. I've conjured my own ebuild since some deps are different, and others aren't mandatory any more. Thanks for your work anyway.
