Hello Wine-Team and Sarnex,

I would like to know if you could considered wine-d3d9 and wine-staging ebuild as useless ?

I think that it's more useful to have only two ebuilds, wine-vanilla and wine-any for these reasons.

You can have :

- wine-d3d9 with wine-any if you don't enable -staging USE flag.
- wine-staging with wine-any if you don't enable d3d9 USE flag OR if you don't enable Nine option in Winecfg if it's build with d3d9 flag.
- wine-vanilla with wine-any if you don't enable d3d9 and staging USE flags.
- It's more easy for you to maintain wine ebuilds.
- Linux players and/or Wine users which use Staging patches are in the majority.

Cheers,
Maxime

We might drop d3d9 and any shortly though, because patching wine for Gallium Nine is not supported for 4.2 and later, and you should use nine standalone.

Thanks,
Sarnex
