Hi,

I've been having this for years btw, not just the latest version. A while ago I decided to take it up in the chat channel for freerdp, but it wasn't known by anyone. Bit at a loss with regards to how to find the issue.

If I connect to servers that don't do NLA, you'll be greeted by the logon screen from Windows. Since 2008 or so this displays user icons, normally one can click one and then enter their password.

I can click them, but no password prompt appears. I always have to go for other user and enter the username. The only thing it does say when clicking a user icon is 'Insert smartcard', in the place where the password prompt should be.

Do others experience this? Any ideas on how to resolve it?

Just
xfreerdp -sec-nla /v:servername
is enough. Tried various parameters but haven't been able to get rid of it.

This is probably not a bug in the Gentoo packaging of FreeRDP. This really belongs in an upstream bug report.
