Description brankob 2019-02-27 19:31:18 UTC
This is current one (and only) ebuild in the portage tree.

I tried renaming it to couple newer and older program versions, but all fo them fail the same way - SIGSEGV within libdbus library:

skypeforlinux[3613]: segfault at 18 ip 00007fab99df63c8 sp 00007ffc1bdaf500 error 4 in libdbus-1.so.3.19.9[7fab99dda000+4b000]

I have installed dbus-1.12.12.-r1 , but have tried also 1.10.24, with the same result.

My system:
Ryzen 2700x
AMD RX5800
32GB RAM

kernel: gentoo-sources-4.19.25
glibc: glibc-2.27-r6
gcc: 8.3.0

profile: [14] default/linux/amd64/17.0/hardened (stable)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge skypeforlinux
2. skypeforlinux
3.
Actual Results:
program silently exits ( code 0), but kernel log shows SIGSEGV

Expected Results:
normal startup

nevermind.

I've just tried the freshest unstable version (8.41.76.43) and it works...
