Bug 67896 – kio_fish doesn't load under konqueror

whenever i use kio_fish under konqueror I get the following error-message:

kio_fish works fine under Krusader, so it's probably related to konqueror (or
the kdebase-ebuild). I already reemerged kdebase (just to be sure).
kio_fish worked fine several days ago before I emerged kde3.3.1 (although I'm
not sure, if it's related to it).

works for me, there are known issues with glibc-2.3.4.20041006, please try if downgrading fixes the problem

a reboot and a downgrade later problem disappeared (don't know which one
solved it). thx.

problem is for me still existing with glibc-2.3.4.20041102 and kde-3.3.1

Lars, >=glibc-2.3.4.20041006 seem to have a number of issues. You're not forced to use a glibc version, which is not marked stable. ;) Mixing libstdc++.so.5/6 seem to make problems (e.g. crashing juk), too.

Carsten I've no problem with partially unstable glibc as long as the bug seems to be as minor like this. Just wanted to tell that the problem is still persistent with this glibc-version.
