Stefan has shown interest in becoming a Gentoo developer. He is an active proxy-maintainer (maintaining multiple packages), has been a productive and effective contributor to the LibreSSL project, is active on IRC, and has contributed multiple patches across the tree. He is interested in cryptographic libraries, games, and contributing to open-source overall. His strengths are C programming and he is productive with Bash. In his daily life he is a software developer by trade. He is familiar with Linux kernel and Yocto/OpenEmbedded development. He has had several patches accepted by both projects upstream [1]. As can be seen by his Gentoo contributions, he is also very passionate about ensuring patches are sent and accepted upstream! Chewi and I will be his mentors. He will send quizzes soon.
