julia-bin 1.0.3 works very well but 1.1.0 does not. The installation did not place any executable or link in /usr/bin/. Also, after "using IJulia" command is issued, the notebooks seem unable to start the correct kernel. The workaround is to keep the 1.0.3 version for now.

Version 1.1.1 works fine again, including the IJulia notebooks. It may be nice though if, instead of adding to the path, a symbolic link for the executable was created in /usr/bin/ . There is only the julia executable in that added directory. Thanks.
