Liveboot CD 2004.2 did not detect SIS900 ethernet on ECS 755-A2 Motherboard.
After trying several things what I did to resolve the problem was very simple
Modprobe SIS900
Then the card was listed when entering lsmod
run the net-setup eth0
and all is well - bada-bing-bada-boom

Reproducible: Always

Detected the SIS900 On board ethernet....

Try one of the -test series livecd's at /experimental/x86/livecd/x86 on your favorite mirror.

Test 2004.3 and see if this has been fixed
