build log

It happens on a freshly created chroot.

The command does not fail manually and returns 0, so I don't know why via emerge it got a segfault

I discovered that it works with FEATURES="-userpriv"

Is it obsoleted and should not any more be confirmed?
Comment 4 Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2020-05-13 23:10:15 UTC
I am unable to reproduce this.
Comment 5 Alec Warner (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2021-03-02 02:47:17 UTC
Just to confirm this is likely due to invalid permissions on /tmp (or other tempdirs) and not a bug in yasm.

Just to report: FEATURES="-userpriv" did indeed resolve the issue for me.
