Hi, 

I am working on adding EAPI 7 support for mate ebuilds, but I am currently blocked
by missing support in gnome-utils.

This is a trivial patch, and although I am not a gnome project member, I am going to submit a patch in the hope it will be merged soon.

So I'm going to close the issue.
