I checked the current stable versions of Heartbeat and DRBD in their own download sites and compared to the output of my 'emerge -s' and I noticed that the ebuilds are all outdated. Can anyone update the said ebuilds including their dependencies? Thanks in advance. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. http://www.linux-ha.org/download/ 2. http://oss.linbit.com/drbd/ 3. Through some early experiments drbd 0.7.5 builds correctly against 2.6.9, and only required a simple patch to remove some depmod calls from drbd/Makefile (down the bottom). The module loads, and registers fine. Not had anytime to use it yet.
Michael, I'm working on the ebuilds you are asking for (drbd is ready and I'm working on heartbeat & Co). I use it so I could maintain it, if you want.
there is a new ebuild in portage, please test it
the portage now has recent ebuilds.
