Comment 1 Cletus Lichte 2004-10-21 12:34:07 UTC
After changing the debug variable to USE="-debug", this will now compile.
Comment 2 Mamoru KOMACHI (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-06 22:57:08 UTC
Sorry for the delay.
jadetex ebuild doesn't use debug USE flag at all.

The problem in your log is that
/usr/bin/mktexfmt segfaults in src_install()
(and thus causes sandbox violation).
I don't know how /usr/bin/mktexfmt interacts
with debug USE flag.... Perhaps app-text/tetex
doesn't like -march=pentium4?
Comment 3 Cletus Lichte 2004-11-14 01:16:30 UTC
I removed the debug flag on tetex, not jadetex. Now jadetex compiles and runs just fine. Thanks!
Comment 4 Mamoru KOMACHI (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-14 20:48:12 UTC
No worries, closing it :)
