Description gary artim 2019-01-03 19:39:53 UTC
trying to do an install on an odroid-h2 motherboard and have tried gpt with x86_64 efi option and just get dropped into front screen of firmware. Some info:

1) the minimum install iso give the same blank screen. Used root on fedora live workstation to do the install steps, this went okay.
2) did the install, nothing shows on booting grub2 except a small bar in lower right corner and firmware info banner.
3) firmware info: American Megatrends 5.13 UEFI 2.6; PI 1.4 GLK-SF 1.01 x64 10/30/2018
4) using nvm 500GB drive, motherboard is an uefi board.
5) both fedora-server and linux-mint install fine using grub2. They may be using a shim or stub, maybe what I need?

Any help would be great...gets very confusing and frustrating with the many options and wiki pages, but mostly cause it take 20..30 minutes to get back to the place where I can test other options.

thanks for any response, will provide more data if needed.
Gary
