Description Ben Schwartz 2004-10-13 09:40:00 UTC
Truevision, the povray modeller, emerged normally from stable, segfaults whenever you press OK in the preferences window. Makes it hard to set the default renderer to something other than x-povray, which isn't in portage.

I would be happy to try remerging with more conservative CFLAGS if any stick out as possible causes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type truevision & at an Xterm prompt.
2. Open preferences from Edit -> Preferences
3. Click "OK"

Actual Results:
I get a window saying "Application "truevision" (process 12980) has crashed due
to a fatal error. (Segmentation fault)

Expected Results:
Close the preferences window

Would you mind testing 0.5.5.2 (it's in package.mask)?
Comment 2 Marcelo Goes (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-16 10:43:37 UTC
Please reopen if it's still a problem with 0.5.5.2.
