The distcc wiki (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Distcc), and the package web page (https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sys-devel/distcc) do not document all USE flags of sys-devel/distcc-3.2_rc1-r4: - crossdev - gtk - ipv6 - zeroconf - gnome - hardened - seliux The wiki only documents USE flags: - gssapi - xinetd. Luckily "equery u sys-devel/distcc" does provide the documentation. Only "crossdev" seems a bit of a mystery and unclear if it should be enabled on the emrging box, or the helper boxes.
It's a wiki. "a website on which users collaboratively modify content and structure directly from the web browser."[1] Please go and collaboratively modify content. You do not need permission to do that. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki
The USE templates on the wiki queries packages.gentoo.org in json format. eg. https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sys-devel/distcc.json So changing the wiki is done by changing packages.gentoo.org

I'm sorry, but i don't understand please clarify: 1) Is this software issue that should be fixed by a gentoo 2) Are you asking contributors to fix missing USE flags if they encounder any? Note that bug #673510 states conflict between Local USE for a package and USE entry both of which are on packages.gentoo.org i want told that non-gentoo contributors can't make any changes to package.gentoo.org and i'm not aware that we can change something on wiki that would affect a result of packages.gentoo.org (response to #2 + #3)
There are 2 URLS on packages.gentoo.org that need fixing and document all USE flags: 1) https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sys-devel/distcc 2) https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sys-devel/distcc.json Once the 2nd URL is updated then also https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Distcc should be fine.
This problem seems to be resolved: all current USE flags are now properly documented in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Distcc#USE_flags . Can be closed, I think.
