Description Martin Swientek 2004-10-12 15:46:23 UTC
When I right-click on a mp3-file to view the properties, the properties window appears and immediately disappears. Nautilus crashes and restarts with showing my home directory.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start nautilus
2. Right-Click on a mp3-file and select properties
3. Nautilus crashes

Actual Results:
Nautilus restarts showing the home directory.

Expected Results:
Nautilus should show the properties window of the selected mp3-file.

Nautilus 2.6.3
Gnome 2.6.2-r1
gstreamer 0.8.5

Re-emerging nautilus and gstreamer doesn't fix the problem, nor does running
gst-register-0.8.

Comment 2 Martin Swientek 2004-10-13 15:32:06 UTC
Sorry, this is my first bug report (and backtrace as well). Hope this helps.
Yeah, you're right. But I've got some old files I don't want to convert again.

Hrmm, nautilus-media. Can you recompile it and see if the problem still exists? that said, nautilus-media isn't really supported anymore.

Re-open if the problem exists.
