Description Robin Hallabro-Kokko 2018-12-04 15:01:15 UTC
The meta property description and og:description still states Gentoo is available as a BSD distribution:

<meta name="description" content="The website of Gentoo, a flexible Linux or BSD distribution.">
<meta property="og:description" content="The website of Gentoo, a flexible Linux or BSD distribution.">

https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Gentoo_FreeBSD says:
>Gentoo FreeBSD was a Gentoo system based on the FreeBSD kernel. Gentoo FreeBSD is no longer maintained by any active Gentoo developers.

I don't know the official status of Gentoo/FreeBSD but the website description and Wiki make conflicting statements.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit gentoo.org
2. View page source
Actual Results:
See the description "The website of Gentoo, a flexible Linux or BSD distribution.""

Expected Results:
See the description "The website of Gentoo, a flexible GNU/Linux distribution." or similiar.

I've removed the mentions of BSD. The change should go live in a few hours.

However, I didn't add 'GNU/' since Gentoo supports non-GNU userlands (e.g. Musl).
