sidplay does not work when using a recent system without OSS.
A patch exists on ubuntu for adding ALSA.

I have added the patch, I confirm it compiles fine on my system (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-7.3.0, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-2.30).

Could you paste your build error ?

Can't even autoreconf because of missing macros.
