Description Dietrich Heise 2004-10-12 06:36:32 UTC
Hi,

I don't know if this is disabled or not implemented in bugzilla.
But I think it would be nice to see all timestamps in bugzilla in the user defined timezone.

A user preference for setting the time zone would be great, though I'd even be satisfied if it were just globally set to UTC instead of PST. Nearly everyone knows their difference to UTC, but PST is quite unusual (at least in the non-US part of the world).

I have set the bugzilla timezone to UTC. There is no setting, as far as I could find, that allows for user-defined timezones.

For information, displaying times in user's timezone is an as-yet-unimplemented feature request for bugzilla itself; see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182238

Changing the setting to UTC (a good idea, I think) has resulted in the timezone string changing on existing bugs, but the times are still PST.
