Greetings. distrib is a front-end to rdist(1) that can optionally run m4 over the distfile and the files to be sent. The m4 macro definitions from from a user-configurable table keyed on the target hostname. I suggest the distrib ebuild go in net-misc/distrib, where it would be parallel with rdist. It depends on mkcmd and msrc0, which I have already submitted.
