Piotr has used Gentoo for years and I believe he'd be a great addition to the developer community. Name: Piotr Karbowski Nick: slashbeast (Piotr, please confirm) Mentor: mattst88 Tree access: Yes
But what will he be initially working on?
@Matt: Nick `slashbeast` is corrent. @Mikle: There are some areas that I'd like to take part, like better integration of xorg-server with elogind, more love for mdev, bbswitch could use some updates, changes to runit (need to ask William what he things about it), adding Hashicorp's packer and terraform to Portage tree. Thats to get me started.
Piotr has sent both his ebuild and end quizzes to recruiters@.
(In reply to Matt Turner from comment #3) > Piotr has sent both his ebuild and end quizzes to recruiters@. To track: As far as I remember I expressed my concerns about quizzes about 2 weeks ago. Recruiters have not seen any updates since then.
Has them been sent via email? I've sent two emails to recruiters with Matt in CC, none of which got any reply.
Updated quizzes were sent today to recruiters@.
(In reply to Matt Turner from comment #6) > Updated quizzes were sent today to recruiters@. And again on January 5th.

I've started to get the emails forwarded from gentoo.org to my private mail address. I'd very much prefer to not get it forwarded as I no longer have access to gentoo.org address therefore I am unable to even sent as @gentoo.org unsubscribe message to the mailing lists that are sending emails.

I'm also surprised that you were able to comment as your @gentoo.org address. That should have been locked if the retirement process worked correctly. The retirement tooling should have removed you from all @lists.gentoo.org lists, as well as all @gentoo.org mail aliases.

The reason why I can respond here is supposedly because I had bugzilla logged in and no one invalidated the session, or not offboarded me from bugzilla just yet. On 2023-09-04 I started to receive on my private email box emails sent to @gentoo.org as recipient. the question was whatever it was intentional or not, after making my comment here I also got a series of email telling me I was unsubscribed from gentoo's lists and a moment ago I got an email with your comment reply to this bug.
