Description Santtu Pajukanta 2004-10-11 07:53:37 UTC
The virtual "virtual/baselayout sys-apps/baselayout" is not present in /etc/make.profile/virtuals in baselayout 1.9.4-r3 / portage 2.0.50-r11, although several ebuilds already depend on it. Thus encountered "emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "virtual/baselayout".\n\n!!! Problem with ebuild sys-apps/man-pages-1.67'" when trying to "emerge -Duva world". Easily fixed after a conversion in IRC by adding that virtual manually.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:

Portage 2.0.50-r11 (default-x86-2004.0, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.3.20040420-r1,
2.6.8.1-love1-gprs)

has nothing to do with baselayout, the x11 ebuilds had 'virtual/baselayout' in their DEPEND for some reason

i removed it
