Description Matthew Marlowe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-11-08 05:36:04 UTC
Probably not detected yet because very few zabbix users probably go to effort to install the rare binary plugin....but we certainly shouldn't look for them in /usr/lib64/modules .... Lots of other packages put plugins in /usr/lib64/pkgname, so I assume its fine to create /usr/lib64/zabbix and let users place whatever site plugins are needed there. I've created a patch to put in zabbix-4.0.1-r1 that fixes this.

Some sites use /var/lib/zabbix/modules as a path instead...either location is fine, although I think its more standard to put binary/library plugins in /usr/lib/pkgname.

Resolved in Zabbix 4.0.2.
