Description Bastien Armand 2018-11-05 19:43:01 UTC
Hi,

When I play a movie (with mpv), after some time (around 5 mins), there is noise for about 30s (but the sound is still recognizable).

It seems to happen on movies with 2channel 48000hz sound. I'm on x86 with dmix (no .asoundrc)

The work-around is to pause and resume. It does not happen with alsa-lib 1.1.2.

I tried to check the alsa devel mailing list but I did not found something that seemed similar.

Regards.

Hi,

I did not find an easiest way to reproduce. I also did test with alsa-lib 1.1.7 and I did not have the issue.

I have masked alsa-lib 1.1.6 on my system. Feel free to close :)

Thanks and regards.
