Description blubbfisch 2004-10-10 15:46:05 UTC
emerging gnustep-base and gnustep-make doesn't work, because the cvs-update somehow manages to lose the executable-flags on configure and friends.

 * Copying gnustep/core/base from /X-Link/FinkVsDistfiles/cvs-src/savannah.gnu.org-gnustep...
 * CVS module gnustep/core/base is now in /var/tmp/portage/gnustep-base-1.10.1_pre20040928/work
 * Applying base-user-defaults.patch-1.10.0...                            [ ok ]>>> Source unpacked.

!!! ERROR: gnustep-base/gnustep-base-1.10.1_pre20040928 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 443, Exitcode 1
!!! no configure script found
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

chmod'ing +x helps, then it compiles perfectly.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gnustep-make or gnustep-base
2.
3.

Actual Results:
ebuild fails

Expected Results:
complete ebuild

Bugger, sorry, about this.

it is of course due to my having the distfiles on a vfat partition.

sorry, again.
