Description Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2002-08-19 00:43:49 UTC
Since I emerges to gnome 2.0.1_rc1 each time I start Gnome nautilus crashes. I
tested with Nautilus 2.0.3, 2.0.4.

When I start In safe mode, Nautilus doesn't crash.

When I start Nautilus in command line, I get this message:
** (nautilus:21039): WARNING **: Cannot load unicode character map for font
International Playboy 12.

I find the problem, pango (?) can't render some types (Truetype) I use on my
desktop.
I have the problem only with artistic fonts.
Before Gnome 2.0.1_rc1, I didn't have the problem.

Comment 4 Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2002-08-19 04:07:04 UTC
I found the problem.
Since gnome 2.0.1_rc1 doesn't support my weird ttf fonts.

I don't know how to resolv this problem

Strange, appears to be a freetype bug if nothing..
you can revert back to the old freetype (2.0.9 ) and then re-install pango and
gtk+2

other than that This appears to be an upstream bug.. please file at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org

well, I'm closing this because its nothing we can or should deal with... this is
upstream and should be reported at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/
