senors-4.18.16-gentoo

Lm_sensors showed the temperature up to kernel 4.18.6-gentoo.
From kernel 4.19.0-gentoo the temperature display has disappeared. That is unfortunate. It would be nice if it comes back.

can you bisect this?

Thanks for your answer.

I found out that the thermal subsystem was changed. See also:
https://lore.kernel.org/patchwork/patch/961120/

From the LM_sensors developers there's a work-in-progress fix for the problem:
https://github.com/lm-sensors/lm-sensors/commit/b24abd4cc9fb6888ea47e75d71b9865df40b10a9
Comment 7 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2019-06-11 12:01:22 UTC
The fix indicated in the URL: field is upstream and is present in 4.19, 4,20, 5.0 and 5.1
