I just stumbled upon kmenc15. It looks quite good and I played around a little bit with it. It's quite stable and usefull. Maybe we can get it into portage?

Tried to make an ebuild for it, currently sandbox violates :/

Hi, just saying that I too would like to see Kmenc15 in portage. Kmenc15 is my software. I have been submitted an ebuild that works with my newest version. Attaching it here.

Yay, gimme some time. I'm at work, but'll
verify'n'import your new ebuild when I'm home ;)
Comment 7 Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-09 05:52:59 UTC
Oded Shimon: why don't you want that file to be mirrored?
(wrt RESTRICT="mirror")
Comment 8 Oded Shimon 2005-03-14 13:35:03 UTC
Kind of a late reply:
I didn't even know that 'restrict' was there or what it does.. I didn't make this ebuild, just modified for my new version. I don't mind if anyone mirrors my program, I'd be even proud. :)
Comment 9 Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-14 15:25:48 UTC
PONG. So I'm still alive. I did not forget you. I've been busy with non-media stuff. Let me see what I can do now ;)
Comment 10 Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-14 16:19:29 UTC
please sync and test the submitted ebuild. so far, I just had to change the copyright line *hint hint*.

Oded Shimon, please file a bug whenever you release some new version of your tool, so, we can keep up2date with upstream.
Comment 11 Oded Shimon 2005-03-14 16:27:44 UTC
I'm confused, where's the submitted ebuild?
Also, you changed the nomirror thing, right?
Comment 12 Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-14 18:23:08 UTC
yes. I did.
where your ebuild is? in CVS. That means. that all the portage tree mirrors shall get them soon (of not already).
