Not familiar with this overlay, but I agree that we should switch to 0.74-2. Previous versions have problems with scaling to the native resolutions of modern displays.
I did look into it but I found that 0.74-2 wasn't based off trunk and is older than our 0.74_p20160629 snapshot, at least in some respects. They said 0.75 should be "soon" so I felt it better to wait. If you really want the latest, use 9999.
It's not 0.74-2, but 0.74.2.

That means it doesn't have all the changes present in 20160629 snapshot, just a few that were handpicked against 0.74. In other words, what we have is closer to 0.75. We may be missing some changes but this release is older overall and I'm not going to waste time sifting through all the commits. A new snapshot would be better but I'd rather wait for 0.75.
