Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge doom3-demo as root
2. type emerge doom3-demo as user at prompt
3. and hit enter :)

Actual Results:  
some sort of opengl or x error related seems it don't like xorg....

Started the game

This may be a problem on my system...we'll see I've been unable to isolate the cause after much googling and discussion on the channel.

EDITED XORGCONF AND SET DEFAULT DEPTH TO 24 INSTEAD OF 16, my problem!
