I've written a small ebuild for the memoir class: http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/memoir/

I've used the date as versioning information since the main version number isn't updated by Peter Wilson when he releases a new mempatch.sty file.

The memoir class is released under The LaTeX Project Public License version 1.3 which isn't in licenses/ yet. It can be found at http://www.latex-project.org/lppl/

Note: the date should of course be 20040524 - since that's the date of the last revision.
