no way. the glibc ebuild has a couple of issues that need to be worked out before it gets put into ~arch. 1) group permissions seem to be broken for some 2) libnoversion isnt built, breaking a few binary apps like teamspeak ...and probably a few other things that we just havent noticed yet. as for binutils, that might actually be a good idea. i havent seen any problems with it so far on amd64, but it hasnt been keyworded for long.
