The change in this bug seems to be a fix for non-flattened support of GNUstep.

Dmitry -- _please_ add descriptions and better titles to any new bugs.  Your bug reports and fixes are great -- it's just a PITA to use them 'cause I have to hunt down what is going on in the attachments you create.  Even just "fix for non-flattened support framework installation directory" would've been perfect.

Also, it'd be good to start a dialog about if GNUstep on Gentoo needs non-flattened support at all -- I'm hesitant to enable it at all, because it's rarely tested, and there's even been discussion about deprecating it, IIRC.

Yes.
I think non-flattened is like NeXT fat binaries.
Non-flattened are default in befor 1.8 gnustep-make.
