you aren't using ACCEPT_KEYWORDS on the command line or using any packages that depend on a specific version of gaim?
Nope. Well, maybe I have something odd going on, but I am not aware of anything. Regular emerge (no ACCEPT_KEYWORDS): yen root # emerge -pv gaim These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! [ebuild R ] net-im/gaim-1.0.0 -cjk +crypt -debug -debug -debug -evo -gnutls -nas +nls +perl -silc +spell 0 kB Total size of downloads: 0 kB Update emerge: yen root # emerge -uDpv world These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating world dependencies ...done! There is some third-party plugin you have emerged that still depends on the lower gaim version. Not all third-party plugins are marked stable when gaim is. Find which one it is and I can update
Are you still having this problem? I believe I caught everything up to speed now.
This won't be happening any more.
