Hello,

could you add to the virtuals some things like:
virtual/dvdr cdrecord-prodvd
virtual/dvdr dvd+rw-tools
... (same for cdr)

and even

virtual/videoencoder media-video/transcode
virtual/videoencoder media-video/mplayer

There's no need unless another package depends on it. Virtuals are for purely for dependencies rather than a user abstraction. If you have a need of these virtuals for a reason here, then you need to open a bug for a specific package static the specific need.
