Hi Team Gentoo, Is it possible to stabilize media-libs/mlt to version 6.10.0 ? When i make a render, with kdenlive 18.04.3 (which uses mlt) in version 6.6.0-r1 I have problems with encoding (memory leak during encoding + after encoding, souns is faster than video...) I updated media-libs/mlt to 6.10.0 using package.keywords and try encoding the same video : No memory leak and sound is correct. Thanks ! Reproducible: Always
The version bump is very young (<30 days) Please wait until the package is a bit more mature. ================================================ commit 27f16b16970c8fd338fda948ed5c13e6bcdc6f0b Author: Jouni Kosonen <jouni.kosonen@tukesoft.com> Date: Sat Jul 28 22:02:56 2018 +0300 media-libs/mlt: version bump 6.10.0 Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/661842 Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/650258 Closes: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/9371
30 days are up. It would be good to have the package stable soon, as only that version contains a fix for for the underlinking issue reported in bug 650258, which users are currently running into (e.g. here https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8248198.html )
No objections.
