On the 8th of May 2018 gnumeric version 1.12.41 was released. http://www.gnumeric.org/announcements/1.12/gnumeric-1.12.41.html Changelog: The Gnumeric Team is pleased to announce the availability of Gnumeric version 1.12.41. This is a bugfix release. Details of changes by contributor: - Morten - Fix problem with object pasting. - Fix undo problem for cell comments. [Bug 732653]. - Exit with non-zero with we fail to load file on command line. - Fix undo crash. [Bug 795861]. - Introspection fixes. - Don't offer more than 15 significant digits by default. [Bug 754391].
I bumped this to 1.12.39 instead of 1.12.40 on May 7th because the python introspection overrides handling in build system was very problematic and I didn't have time to fix that up. Hopefully 1.12.41 fixed that up a day later then, but hadn't noticed it was released. Or maybe I did and found it still lacking. Anyhow, just a note to be careful and check these things if someone else (hopefully) gets to bumping this before me.
Just pushed 1.12.43. https://cgit.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=e05b118b0a7f9c6405120232651c93ae09f3b4a2
