On the 19th June 2018, at-spi2-core version 2.29.1 was released.

This is an early development cycle release for GNOME 3.30. We are still working on 3.26. Ideally we would have at-spi2-core-2.28.0 available though, but that'll come with rest of GNOME 3.28. Before that, probably 2.26.2 will be added with rest of GNOME 3.26.
Such development releases won't be added in main tree before we can keep up with stable releases. Once we can, we might start adding those, but in package.mask, as they are unstable development series (for most GNOME packages an odd minor [second] version number denotes that).
