Hi,

kde-apps/kmail, kde-apps/kmail-account-wizard and kde-apps/kmailtransport are installed in v17.12.3.

To reproduce the bug:
1) Send to yourself a mail with subject 1 and containing aaa
Then another mail with subject 2 and containing bbb
then a third one, with subject 3 and containing CcC
2) You end up with receiving in your incoming mails directory the 3 mails.
3) Select the 3 mails simultaneously: click the first mail then SHIFT+click the third one, and move the 3 of them to another dir
4) When looking at the mail with subject 3 (last one in the dir), it shows aaa

Cheers.

.Y

I can reproduce this problem with kde-apps/kmail-18.04.3.

At the end of the procedure the mail with subject "3" contains "aaa" while the mail with subject "1" contains "ccc". It should be the opposite.

In case it could help, after a "akonadictl fsck", the shown content of the mails correspond to the real mails (with the real subject) -- thus the "sort" disfunction to me.

Please go to upstream with this bug. bugs.kde.org will almost certainly already have one fitting bug recorded.
