Emerge Log

Attempting to emerge the hidapi-0.8.0_rc1_p20140719 package results in a checksum failure.

This should probably go without saying, but make sure that the mirror you use is on the current list.  I was getting the same thing.  I checked the mirror list and the mirror I had set is no longer on the list, once I changed my mirror the package downloaded and installed without issue.
