The OpenOffice.org office productivity suite (containing Writer, Draw, and Calc, abd Impress) is now at version 1.1.3, as shown in ther downloads area. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
We are waiting for the official announcement, which has not happened yet
Also I might add, that the source tarball seems to be broken, at least on my machine it doesn't build, so this needs some further work
Ok, further investigation reveals that I was right, the source tarball is broken, I filed a bug about that upstream: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=34892 I've already done a patch for that problem here locally, still I am going to wait for a corrected tarball for the source build. Regarding the -bin-version: I have just put 1.1.3 into portage, although it is hard-masked for now until there is a release announcement. But if you REALLY want to try out: It should work fine ;)
Just a little status update: openoffice-bin-1.1.3 is now unmasked as the release has been officially announced. The source version is still on hold, as I am waiting for the - promised - fixed tarball release.
Please also add ~amd64 and amd64? ( mirror://openoffice/stable/${PV}/OOo_${PV}_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz )" for the download file. I unmasked it today and tried to build it on my amd64. It works without problems.
Just commited the new OOo 1.1.3 ebuild to cvs. Uses the new source tarball which has been released a few hours ago. Closing this
Jorg, for amd64 masking, please file a new bug and assign it to amd64@gentoo.org
This has already been done by someone else: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66588
