using this opportunity to migrate away from GH...

Could we please have two git repositories

proj/toolchain/glibc.git
"Gentoo vendor branches of the glibc code"

proj/toolchain/binutils-gdb.git
"Gentoo vendor branches of the binutils / gdb code"

Access for both:
anyone read
toolchain team write & special(like force-push)

(Reminder that glibc upstream is happy to have distro branches in their git repo. Gentoo had such branches until 2.25)
